When should I change my transmission fluid?
- Approximately every 30,000 miles or every 24 months, whichever occurs first.
What do we do to your car during a routine transmission fluid and filter change?
- Test drive your car to check for quality of performance or to detect any malfunctions.
- Visual check from top to bottom to detect any leaks, vacuum hoses or electronic wire connections that may show 5 problem.
- Manually check adjustments.
- Do a computer scan to retrieve history of operation and to check electronic adjustment.
- Check batter condition
- Check fluid to see if it is full, low, clean, discolored, black or burnt
- Remove transmission pan, cut open filter and inspect and report condition
- Install a new filter kit
- Fill with the correct fluid for your car that meets or exceeds manufacturer specifications
- Final road test
- Recheck fluid level
